A few steps to make a digital picture ready for the web

File format. You do not need to change this if your uploaded image already is in jpeg. If you need to convert from other file format chose jpeg and click Make new image (2).

Crop. Drag your mouse cursor with click down over the picture to make the selection you will keep. Then click Crop image (3).

(If the original image are very big it can be easier with resize before cropping).

Resize (1). Type the number of pixels you want. (100 pixels= ca 50 mm) and then click Make new image (2).

Brightness and contrast (4). Make change step by step with click on More brightness and More contrast. If your results not looks god click Back to original image. (Then it needs crop or resize again).

Adjust sharpness (4). If the image after resize are blurry click on Sharpen (one click is enough).

Compression factor (5). Change from actual compression as shown to make the picture easy to download from WebPages. Low or Medium normally ok. Then click Make new image (2) and you can watch the result.

Save picture. When you are satisfied with the new picture Download new image (6) to your computer. Remember to give it a new name - do not overwrite the original!

Close the editor popup and delete your images from Webbild.com, or upload and edit new image with click on Finnish and return to upload (7).
